Relationship of mildly increased albuminuria and coronary artery revascularization outcomes in patients with diabetes
ConclusionsMildly increased albuminuria is a significant predictor of all ‐cause mortality in those with type‐II diabetes mellitus and stable coronary artery disease, as well as for cardiovascular events those who are nonwhites.

In ‐hospital outcomes of transcatheter versus surgical aortic valve replacement in non‐teaching hospitals
ConclusionsTAVR conferred similar in ‐hospital mortality and major peri‐procedural complications compared with SAVR in non‐teaching hospitals. For those with limited access to teaching hospitals, non‐teaching hospitals appear to be a reasonable option for candidates of aortic valve replacement for severe aortic stenosis.

Drug ‐eluting stents versus coronary artery bypass grafting for left‐main coronary artery disease
ConclusionsWhen compared with CABG, DES‐PCI for LMCAD was associated with increases in RRV and the composite of death, MI, and RRV (with/without stroke), despite no differences in mortality, MI, stroke, and the composite of death and MI (with/without stroke).

Hybrid coronary revascularization versus coronary artery bypass grafting in patients with multivessel coronary artery disease: A meta ‐analysis
ConclusionHCR appears to be safe, and has similar outcomes when compared with conventional CABG. HCR can be a suitable alternative to conventional CABG in select patients with MVCAD. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass grafting for unprotected left main coronary artery disease
ConclusionsIn patients with unprotected left main coronary disease and low to intermediate SYNTAX score, PCI might be an acceptable alternative to CABG. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Subclavian artery stenting for coronary ‐subclavian steal syndrome
Conclusion: Subclavian artery stenting is feasible and safe in patients with CSSS, with a low incidence of perioperative complications and stent restenosis rate. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Predictors of long ‐term outcomes after bypass grafting versus drug‐eluting stent implantation for left main or multivessel coronary artery disease
Conclusions: Simple clinical variables and SYNTAX score differentially predict long‐term outcomes after CABG versus those after PCI with DES for left main or multivessel CAD. Those predictors might help to guide the choice of revascularization strategy. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Arterial access site and outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention with and without vorapaxar
ConclusionsTransradial access was associated with lower bleeding rates and similar long‐term ischemic outcomes, suggesting transradial access is safer than transfemoral access among ACS patients receiving potent antiplatelet therapies. Because of the nonrandomized allocation of arterial access, these results should be considered exploratory. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Neurologic complications after transradial or transfemoral approach for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization: A propensity score analysis of 16,710 cases from a prospective registry
Conclusion. Rates of documented stroke/TIA were low. Our observational study suggests that widening the use of the transradial approach is not associated with an increased risk of clinically relevant procedure‐related neurologic complications.
