ConclusionSerial changes in rOLD findings after stroke onset are different according to the responsible lesion. The direction of rOLD in most patients is in accordance with vertical perception after the acute stage of stroke.

Association between intravenous tirofiban and intracranial hemorrhage in acute large vessel occlusion stroke: insight from the RESCUE BT randomized placebo-controlled trial
ConclusionsIn patients with acute large vessel occlusion stroke, intravenous tirofiban before EVT within 24  h of time from last known well is not associated with increased risk of SICH. Epileptic seizures in the emergency room: clinical and electroencephalographic findings associated with brain perfusion patterns on computed tomography
ConclusionsIn acute settings, detection by visual analysis of focal cerebral cortical hyperperfusion on pCT in patients with epileptic seizures, especially if accompanied by the highly specific feature of thalamic hyperperfusion, is suggestive of a diagnosis of SE and requires clinical and EEG confirmation. The absence of focal hyperperfusion makes a diagnosis of SE unlikely.

ConclusionsSymptomatic HT rates are likely to be low in randomized trials of DOAC initiation post-stroke. Recurrent ischemic stroke may be the major clinical outcome. These data may be used as expected event rates when calculating sample size requirements for future safety/efficacy trials of early versus late DOAC initiation after AF-related stroke.

ConclusionsQuantitative features of early hyperacute NCCTs can be used to detect early ischemic changes in pc-ASPECTS regions. The classifier performance was higher or equal to results of human raters. The proposed approach could facilitate reproducible analysis in research and may allow standardized assessments for outcome prediction and therapy planning in clinical routine.

Stroke in supplementary motor area mimicking functional disorder: a case report

The intraventricular-spot sign: prevalence, significance, and relation to hematoma expansion and outcomes
ConclusionWe studied the prediction of spot sign on hematoma expansion and clinical outcomes in the different subtypes of ICH. Our study showed that spot sign is a good predictor in IPH but not IVH. Despite the rarity of IVH; the prevalence of spot sign was higher in IVH than IPH. This might be due to anatomical and physiological variations.

Comparison of CT black hole sign and other CT features in predicting hematoma expansion in patients with ICH

Haemorrhagic stroke related to the use of 4-fluoroamphetamine
We report on two patients who presented with headache and mild hypertension after 4-FA use. Patient A developed one-sided weakness and decreased consciousness after a few hours. Predicting functional outcomes of posterior circulation acute ischemic stroke in first 36  h of stroke onset
In conclusion, both the PC-ASPECTS and NIHSS help clinicians predict functional outcomes. PC-ASPECTS >  7 is a helpful discriminator for achieving favorable functional outcome prediction in posterior circulation acute ischemic stroke.
