Complexity of Participation Post-Stroke: Longitudinal Assessment of Community Participation, Positive Affect, Social Support and Functional Independence
CONCLUSION: While participation in social situations is a desired outcome post-stroke, the results of this study indicate the importance of identifying early factors that influence community participation throughout the recovery process.PMID:36102195 | DOI:10.2340/jrm.v54.2238

Effects of Different Montages of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation on Haemodynamic Responses and Motor Performance In Acute Stroke: A Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSION: MFV was not modulated following active or sham groups. However, dual-tDCS was more efficient in improving motor performance than other groups, especially for lower-limb performance, with after-effects lasting at least 1 month.PMID:36036644 | DOI:10.2340/jrm.v54.3208

Compliance with Upper Limb Home-Based Exergaming Interventions for Stroke Patients: A Narrative Review
DISCUSSION: Rates of compliance with training were relatively high. No group effect on compliance was found. Drop-out and discontinued intervention rates were either due to external causes or directly related to the technologies. Some studies have reported the use of supervision, most of them through home visits and remote support. Few studies performed long-term follow-up, which could provide information to help broaden practices. This narrative review considers how this field of research may evolve in the future.PMID:35976767 | DOI:10.2340/jrm.v54.2270
