CONCLUSION: Five years after perimesencephalic subarachnoid haemorrhage, one-third of patients still reported fatigue, associated with worse participation and health-related quality of life. Injury of the corticoreticular pathway in subarachnoid haemorrhage after rupture of a cerebral artery aneurysm.
Conclusion: Corticoreticular pathway injury is common in patients with motor weakness after subarachnoid haemorrhage, and it appears to be related to weakness in the contralateral shoulder, hip and lower extremity. PMID: 25594856 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
