Disparities in ethnicity and metabolic disease burden in referrals to nephrology
CONCLUSION: A disproportionately large number of Malay patients are referred for kidney disease. These patients have higher metabolic disease burden, tend to miss appointments and are referred at lower eGFR. Trends in diabetes-related complications in Singapore, 2013 –2020: A registry-based study
ConclusionWe found that DM and its complications represent an important challenge for healthcare in Singapore. Improvements in the trends of DM macrovascular complications were observed. However, trends in DM microvascular complications remain a cause for concern.

Death and cardiovascular outcomes in end-stage renal failure patients on different modalities of dialysis
CONCLUSION: The short-term incidence of death and AMI remains high in Singapore. Future studies should investigate the benefits of a tighter control of cardiovascular risk factors among ESRF patients on dialysis.PMID:35373236
