O10 The necessity of monitoring platelet response and adjusting antiplatelet agents for endovascular treatment of unruptured intracranial aneurysms: a single-center, retrospective, cohort study
ConclusionActive monitoring and adjustment antiplatelet agents did not reduce ischemic complications in endovascular treatment; however, tended to reduce the ischemic complication, especially in flow diversion. ConclusionsFDS appear to be a safe and effective tool for reconstruction of a symptomatic dissection in tortuous cervical ICAs. Conclusions Bodyweight did not influence the likelihood of obtaining a therapeutic VerifyNow Aspirin result. The clinical utility of obtaining VerifyNow Aspirin assays for this patient population is unknown.

E-004 Focal intracranial vasculopathy as a manifestation of COVID-19-associated acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionTo our knowledge, our case is the first to illustrate the potential for COVID-19 infection to present as a focal intracranial vasculopathy in an otherwise healthy young-patient, resulting in acute ischemic stroke without an underlying hypercoagulable state. O-012 Acute clot formation on the surface of flow diverters can be reduced by using phosphoryl-choline surface modification

Radiology ruse: dural venous sinus cyst masquerading as venous sinus thrombosis presenting with headache and stroke
Conclusions Radiological differentiation between venous sinus thrombosis and dural venous sinus cyst is clinically important to avoid unnecessary anticoagulation and associated risks. Final management included propranolol for migraine prophylaxis; aspirin for acute migraine; aspirin for stroke prevention; vascular risk factor management; and cessation of triptans.

Neck vessel dissection following whiplash-type neck injury
Arterial dissection is a recognised complication of neck manipulation and trauma. In a systematic audit of 148 complex medicolegal whiplash cases 131 had only neck pain, 8 had radiculopathic symptoms, and 9 had symptoms and signs suggesting an arterial dissection of a neck vessel with presumed secondary thromboembolism. Their ages ranged from 28–55. Three had hemipareses supported by scan abnormalities, and one had a probable posterior fossa stroke. Five cases had prolonged symptoms without imaging abnormalities.
