Staged endovascular recanalization for symptomatic atherosclerotic non-acutely occluded internal carotid artery
CONCLUSIONS: This retrospective study found that staged endovascular recanalization for symptomatic atherosclerotic NAOICA may be feasible with an acceptable technical success rate and a low complication rate in the selected candidates.PMID:36883208 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231162666

Endovascular treatment in patients with middle cerebral artery occlusion of different aetiologies
ConclusionsPatients with acute MCA M1 occlusion stroke due to different pathogeneses had comparable successful recanalization rates and functional independence at 90  days. The optimal management for MCAO patients with different aetiologies requires further research.

Transcranial duplex ultrasound monitoring of intracranial arterial stenosis treated with ELUTAX "3" drug-eluting balloon.
We report the results of transcranial ultrasound monitoring in three patients with intracranial arterial stenosis of the middle cerebral artery treated with the only drug-eluting balloon certificated for intracranial use in highly symptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis, ELUTAX "3" (AR Baltic Medical). We performed transcranial Doppler ultrasounds 24 h, 72 h, 10 days, 15 days and 30 days after the angioplasty, thereby measuring mean flow velocity (MFV) in the maximum stenosis area in patients with symptomatic steno-occlusive disease of the middle cerebral artery treated with ELUTAX "3". Two patients were treated during ...

Potential for the Use of the Solitaire Stent for Recanalization of Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion without a Susceptibility Vessel Sign INTERVENTIONAL
CONCLUSIONS: The Solitaire stent is a feasible tool as the first-line device for multimodal endovascular recanalization therapy in acute ischemic stroke with a negative MCA susceptibility vessel sign. It has a good rate of successful and complete recanalization and is a fast yet safe procedure.
