Percutaneous Endocardial Occlusion of Incompletely Surgically Ligated Left Atrial Appendage
ConclusionPercutaneous endocardial occlusion of ISLL is feasible using an Amplatzer Septal Occluder device. Additional studies are required to evaluate the long‐term safety and efficacy of this therapeutic treatment strategy in patients with ISLL.

Long‐term efficacy and safety of two different rhythm control strategies in elderly patients with symptomatic persistent atrial fibrillation
ConclusionsIn elderly persistent AF patients, catheter ablation is more effective in maintaining SR and in improving QoL than AAD but is affected by a higher risk of embolic complications, particularly in patients with previous TIA/stroke. Over time, Group A patients more likely discontinued AAD with a reduction of long‐term adverse events.
