Use of proton pump inhibitors is associated with an increase in adverse cardiovascular events in patients with hemodialysis: Insight from the kids registry.
CONCLUSIONS: These results indicate that the use of PPIs in patients with maintenance hemodialysis might increase mortality and cardiovascular events without decreasing the risk of bleeding. Conclusion The rates of stroke or systemic embolism and major bleeding events were not negligible among Japanese cancer patients with AF receiving OACs.
