Tirofiban in the treatment of cancer-associated ischemic stroke
CONCLUSIONS: Early administration of tirofiban in the treatment of mild to moderate ischemic stroke is safe, which can reduce 24-hour and 7-day NIHSS scores and has potential value.PMID:37140310 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202304_32142

Synergistic effects of electroacupuncture and bone marrow stromal cells transplantation therapy in ischemic stroke
CONCLUSIONS: Our results show that the combination treatment significantly improved restoration of neurological deficits in the animal stroke model. However, further studies are required to see if EA could promote the rapid differentiation of BMSC into neural stem cells in the short term.PMID:37140285 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202304_32106

COVID-19 pandemic on coronary artery and cerebrovascular diseases in Southern Spain: interrupted time series analysis
CONCLUSIONS: A decline in AMI and CVD daily hospital admissions during the first and second wave of COVID-19 pandemic was noted. Gender differences were observed, but no clear impact was observed in percutaneous interventions.PMID:37070925 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202304_31955

Do novel oral anticoagulant drugs used in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation act only as anticoagulants?
CONCLUSIONS: The results indicated that the NOAC used in anticoagulation treatment do not only act as anticoagulants but also reduce inflammation and platelet reactivation, which have an important role in the pathogenesis of AF and thromboembolism.PMID:37070895 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202304_31926
