Subfatin, asprosin, alamandine and maresin-1 in cerebral ischemia, intracranial and subarachnoid hemorrhages
CONCLUSIONS: Decreased MaR-1, SUB, ALA and increased ASP compared to the control values may play a role in the physiopathology of these diseases. MaR-1, SUB, ALA, and ASP differences between SAH, CI and ICH patients may also guide clinicians along with SBP, DBP and glucose values.PMID:37259728 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202305_32453

Effects of comprehensive care measures based on the HAPA model on self-care, neurotransmitters and clinical outcomes in cerebral infarction patients
CONCLUSIONS: Comprehensive care measures of HAPA model may be used with advantage to improve the self-care ability, reduce the degree of neurological damage, and improve neurological function in cerebral infarction patients. Age, hypertension history, and NIHSS score after treatment were all risk factors related to poor prognosis.PMID:37259727 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202305_32452

Is cardioembolic stroke more frequent than expected in acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion?
CONCLUSIONS: In this retrospective study, cardioembolic source seems to constitute majority of causes in acute ischemic strokes due to large vessel occlusions. Further exploration is needed especially in cryptogenic strokes to reveal possible cardioembolic source of emboli.PMID:37203828 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202305_32310

Clinical effectiveness of sodium fluorescein-guided microsurgery in patients with high-grade gliomas
CONCLUSIONS: Fluorescein-guided microsurgery can dramatically improve total resection rate, postoperative neurological functional status, and overall survival with higher efficacy and safety in patients with high-grade gliomas.PMID:37203814 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202305_32296
