Nationwide experience with transcarotid transcatheter aortic valve implantation: Insights from the POL-CAROTID registry
CONCLUSIONS:: The results of the study indicated that the first cohort of transcarotid transcatheter heart valves of second-generation implantations in Poland were associated with a similar prognosis to TF-TAVI with regard to safety and feasibility. Does bariatric surgery change the risk of acute ischemic stroke in patients with a history of transient ischemic attack? A nationwide analysis
CONCLUSIONS: After analyzing nationwide information, we conclude bariatric surgery helps decrease risk of AIS in patients with a history of TIA.
