In  vitro inhibitory analysis of consensus siRNAs against NS3 gene of hepatitis C virus 1a genotype
Conclusions siRNAs directed against NS3 gene significantly decreased mRNA and protein expression in stable cell clones. Viral replication was also vividly decreased in serum infected Huh-7 cells. Stable Huh-7 cells expressing NS3 gene is helpful to develop anti-hepatitis C drug screening assays. siRNA therapeutic potential along with other anti-HCV agents can be considered against hepatitis C.

Targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene enhances the killing effects of paclitaxel on triple negative breast cancer cells
Conclusions Targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene may enhance the killing effects of paclitaxel on triple negative breast cancer cells by up-regulating the expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 and inhibiting the expression of Bcl-2.

The expression of MYH9 in osteosarcoma and its effect on the migration and invasion abilities of tumor cell
Conclusions MYH9 shows a trend of high expression in osteosarcoma tissues, and its high expression is associated with features such as tumor invasion and metastasis. The down-regulated MYH9 can realize an anti-tumor effect by inhibiting the migration and invasion of osteosarcoma cells.

Effect of hypoxia on expression of placental trophoblast cells SATB1 and β-catenin and its correlation with the pathogenesis of preeclampsia
Conclusions Hypoxia can inhibit the expression of SATB1 and β-catenin in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, which can affect the proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion of cells.

Study on the role of cathepsin B and JNK signaling pathway in the development of cerebral aneurysm
Conclusion After the attack of cerebral aneurysm, proteins like Cathepsin B, Caspase-3 and p-JNK are all involved in the apoptosis of VSMCs. This process may be realized by Cathepsin B which activates the apoptosis mechanism of Caspase-3 and mediate the apoptosis of VSMC through the JNK signaling pathway. Therefore, silencing Cathepsin B gene or inhibiting the conduction through JNK signaling pathway can mitigate the apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cells in cerebral aneurysm.

Inhibition of long non-coding RNA TUG1 on gastric cancer cell transference and invasion through regulating and controlling the expression of miR-144/c-Met axis
Conclusions lncRNA-TUG1 shows an up-regulated expression in GC tissue and that bears a correlation with clinicopathological features of malignant tumor. lncRNA-TUG1 can promote the transferring and invading capacity of GC by inhibiting the pathway of microRNA-144/c-Met.

Mechanism of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in enhanced malignant phenotype of non-small cell lung cancer induced by anti-angiogenesis therapy
Conclusions siRNA can significantly inhibit the expression of VEGF. For the anti-angiogenesis therapy, the inhibited expression of VEGF can activate the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway to cause the epithelial mesenchymal transition and then the enhanced malignant phenotype of non-small cell lung cancer.

Expression of MAPK1 in cervical cancer and effect of MAPK1 gene silencing on epithelial-mesenchymal transition, invasion and metastasis
Conclusions Because of the high expression of MAPK1 in the cervical cancer tissue, the interference in the expression of MAPK1 can significantly inhibit the invasion and metastasis of cervical cancer HeLa cells, which is related to the interference in the expression of MMPs/TIMP and Snail-mediated generation of EMT.

Effect of siRNA on Wisp-1 gene expression, proliferation, migration and adhesion of mouse hepatocellular carcinoma cells
Conclusions The inhibition of Wisp-1 expression can reduce the proliferation, migration and adhesion of mouse hepatocellular carcinoma cells, which is related to the AKT/glycogen synthase kinase-3β pathway. Wisp-1 gene may be the potential target to cure the hepatocellular carcinoma.
