lncRNA-RMRP promotes proliferation, migration and invasion of bladder cancer via miR-206.
CONCLUSIONS: According to the results, we found that lncRNA RMRP was closely related to the progression of bladder cancer, which could be a potential target for treating BC patients. PMID: 30779067 [PubMed - in process]

Astrocytes induce proliferation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells via connexin 47-mediated activation of Chi3l1 expression.
CONCLUSIONS: Cx47/Chi3l1 plays an important role in the promotion of OPCs proliferation by ASTs. ASTs can promote the expression of Chi3l1 via Cx47 in OPCs, and then activate the expression of cyclin D1 and regulate the cell cycle of OPCs, thereby promoting cell proliferation. This study provides a new target for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. PMID: 31002152 [PubMed - in process]

LncRNA PVT1 knockdown affects proliferation and apoptosis of uveal melanoma cells by inhibiting EZH2.
CONCLUSIONS: LncRNA PVT1 knockdown in UM cells can repress the proliferation of UM cells and promote their apoptosis by regulating EZH2 expression. PMID: 31002139 [PubMed - in process]

MicroRNA-448 inhibits the regeneration of spinal cord injury through PI3K/AKT/Bcl-2 axis.
CONCLUSIONS: MicroRNA-448 is upregulated after SCI, which may be involved in the regenerative process of spinal motor nerves by regulating PI3K/AKT/Bcl-2 axis. PMID: 31002121 [PubMed - in process]

KLF5 silence attenuates proliferation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition induction in Hep-2 cells through NF- κB signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: These results revealed that silencing KLF5 expression reduced the proliferation, migration and invasion and EMT abilities by inhibiting the NF-κB pathway in Hep-2 cells. Our results suggest that KLF5 may be a potential therapeutic target in laryngeal carcinoma. PMID: 31115014 [PubMed - in process]

LncRNA NKILA inhibits invasion and migration of osteosarcoma cells via NF- κB/Snail signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: NKILA was lowly expressed in osteosarcoma tissues. In addition, high expression of NKILA could suppress the migration and invasion of osteosarcoma cells by inhibiting the NF-κB/Snail signaling pathway. PMID: 31173281 [PubMed - in process]

The modulation of endometriosis by lncRNA MALAT1 via NF- κB/iNOS.
CONCLUSIONS: LncRNA MALAT1 can facilitate endometrial cell apoptosis and modulate MMP-9 expression via NF-κB/iNOS pathway, thus, mediating Ems pathogenesis. PMID: 31173276 [PubMed - in process]

LINC00968 accelerates the progression of epithelial ovarian cancer via mediating the cell cycle progression.
CONCLUSIONS: LINC00968 expression is markedly upregulated in EOC. Meanwhile, it arrests the cell cycle in the G1 phase by inhibiting the ERK and AKT pathways, thus accelerating EOC progression. PMID: 31210289 [PubMed - in process]

Effect of NLK on the proliferation and invasion of laryngeal carcinoma cells by regulating CDCP1.
CONCLUSIONS: NLK is expressed in tumor tissues of patients with laryngeal cancer. The down-regulation of NLK expression may play a role in the proliferation, apoptosis, and invasion of laryngeal carcinoma cells and it is possible by regulating MMP-9 and CDCP1 expression.
