Aloperine induces apoptosis and G2/M cell cycle arrest in hepatocellular carcinoma cells through the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway
ConclusionWe first demonstrated that ALO induced apoptosis and G2/M cell cycle arrest in HCC cells through inhibition of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. This study provides a rationale for ALO as a potential chemotherapeutic agent for HCC.Graphical abstract

Reversal effect of quercetin on multidrug resistance via FZD7/ β-catenin pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma cells
Conclusion : Overall, these data suggested the effectiveness of using quercetin, at least in part, via inhibiting FZD7 to combat chemoresistance and showed that quercetin could be developed into an efficient natural sensitizer for resistant human hepatocellular carcinoma. Graphical abstract

Nobiletin attenuates metastasis via both ERK and PI3K/Akt pathways in HGF-treated liver cancer HepG2 cells
In conclusion, nobiletin attenuates HGF-induced HepG2 cells metastasis involving both ERK and PI3K/Akt pathways and are potentially useful as anti-metastatic agents for the treatment of hepatoma.
