Chitosan/PIK3CA siRNA nanoparticle-mediated PIK3CA gene interference decreases the invasive capacity of gastric cancer cells in vitro.
CONCLUSION: PIK3CA gene interference mediated by PIK3CA/siRNA chitosan nanoparticle can decrease the invasive capacity of gastric cancer cells in vitro. PMID: 25345950 [PubMed - in process]

Effect of siRNA targeting HDAC1 gene on proliferation, apoptosis, histone acetylation, and histone metylation in gastric cancer cells in vitro.
CONCLUSION: Silencing HDAC1 gene expression with HDAC1 siRNA can promote histone H3 and H4 acetylation and inhibit histone methylation of H3K9 to suppress the proliferation and induce apoptosis of gastric cancer MGC-803 cells. PMID: 24589606 [PubMed - in process]

Comparison of efficiency and cytotoxicity of different transfection reagents in transfecting RIP140-siRNA into Kupffer cells.
CONCLUSION: In Kupffer cells, lentivirus-mediated transfection, as compared with the other two trasnfection reagents, can achieve good transfection efficiency with a relativelty low cytotoxicity, and allows for better controllability and stability of the trasnfectiion conditions. siRNA-mediated CDK6 knockdown suppresses nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell growth and cell cycle transition in vitro.
CONCLUSION: NPC tissues overexpress CDK6. Knocking down CDK6 expression inhibits the growth and cell cycle transition of NPC cells in vitro by inhibiting the expressions of CDK4, CCND1, and E2F1 and upregulating tumor suppressor p21 expression. PMID: 25057088 [PubMed - in process]

EZH2 gene silenced by siRNA suppresses the growth and invasion of endometrial carcinoma cells.
CONCLUSION: EZH2 expression is increased in endometrial carcinoma tissues. Knocking down EZH2 expression suppresses the cell growth, cell cycle transition and cell invasion by downregulated E2F1 and MMP9, and upregulated tumor suppressor p21 expression. PMID: 23803199 [PubMed - in process]
