FXYD3, a ᵯE; subunit of the Na/K ATPase, is expressed in the airway, but its function remains undetermined. Single cell RNA sequencing and immunohistochemistry revealed that FXYD3 localizes within the basolateral membrane of all airway epithelial cells.
