Role of nephrin phosphorylation inducted by dexamethasone and angiotensin II in podocytes.
In this study, we observated the effect of Dex and angiotensin II (AngII) on the change of nephrin phosphorylation in cultured podocytes. In vitro, cultured podocytes were exposed to AngII (10(-6) mol/L) pretreated with or without Dex (100 nM) for different time periods. Nck or Fyn were silenced by small interfering RNA (siRNA), nephrin and its phosphorylation expression were analyzed by Western blotting. In vitro, the phosphorylation of nephrin was significantly reduced after AngII stimulation (P < 0.05).
