LncRNA FOXD2-AS1 knockdown inhibits the resistance of human osteosarcoma cells to cisplatin by inhibiting miR-143 expression.
CONCLUSIONS: LncRNA FOXD2-AS1 knockdown inhibits the resistance of human osteosarcoma cells to cisplatin, promotes their apoptosis and weakens their invasion and migration abilities. The possible underlying mechanism may be related to the inhibition of miR-143 expression by lncRNA FOXD2-AS1 in drug-resistant cell lines. PMID: 33577022 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

LncRNA-TMPO-AS1 promotes apoptosis of osteosarcoma cells by targeting miR-329 and regulating E2F1.
CONCLUSIONS: TMPO-AS1 can function as a diagnostic and prognostic marker for osteosarcoma. LncRNA-TMPO-AS1 can promote apoptosis of osteosarcoma cells by targeting miR-329 and regulating E2F1, which is a potent treatment option for osteosarcoma. PMID: 33215415 [PubMed - in process]

LncRNA NKILA inhibits invasion and migration of osteosarcoma cells via NF- κB/Snail signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: NKILA was lowly expressed in osteosarcoma tissues. In addition, high expression of NKILA could suppress the migration and invasion of osteosarcoma cells by inhibiting the NF-κB/Snail signaling pathway. PMID: 31173281 [PubMed - in process]

Effects of ZEB1 on regulating osteosarcoma cells via NF- κB/iNOS.
CONCLUSIONS: Inhibition of ZEB1 can facilitate osteosarcoma cell apoptosis and inhibit cell proliferation or invasion via down-regulating NF-kB/iNOS signal pathway. PMID: 28387915 [PubMed - in process]

Targeting miR-29 induces apoptosis of osteosarcoma MG-63 cells via regulation of TGF- β1/PUMA signal.
CONCLUSIONS: Targeting miR-29 exhibits significant in vivo and in vitro anti-tumor activities in OS through a novel mechanism resulting in inhibition of TGF-β1 expression and inducing PUMA expression. PMID: 27649654 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Effect and mechanism analysis of siRNA in inhibiting VEGF and its anti-angiogenesis effects in human osteosarcoma bearing rats.
CONCLUSIONS: The growth of tumor tissue in osteosarcoma bearing rats is inhibited in Ad-VEGF-siRNA group, Ad-VEGF-siRNA + neoadjuvant chemotherapy group and Ad-VEGF-siRNA + anti-angiogenesis chemotherapy group. The effect in Ad-VEGF-siRNA + neoadjuvant chemotherapy is more significant than simple biological therapy or Ad-VEGF-siRNA + anti-angiogenesis chemotherapy. PMID: 26636524 [PubMed - in process]
