Hepatic arterial and portal venous complications after adult and pediatric living donor liver transplantation, risk factors, management and outcome (A retrospective cohort study)
Conclusion HA and/or PV complications specially early ones lead to significant poor outcome after LDLT, so proper dealing with the risk factors like pre LT PVT (I.e. More intensive anticoagulation therapy) and the effective management of these complications are mandatory for improving outcome.

Nuclear Medicine in Pediatric Cardiology
Accurate cardiovascular imaging is essential for the successful management of patients with congenital heart disease (CHD). Echocardiography and angiography have been for long time the most important imaging modalities in pediatric cardiology, but nuclear medicine has contributed in many situations to the comprehension of physiological consequences of CHD, quantifying pulmonary blood flow symmetry or right-to-left shunting. In recent times, remarkable improvements in imaging equipments, particularly in multidetector computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, have led to the progressive integration of high resoluti...

Value of MDCT as a non- invasive modality in evaluation of pediatric congenital cardiovascular anomalies
Conclusion The main added value of cardiac MDCT to TTE is the precise illustration of the extracardiac anatomic structures, without adding significant information on intracardiac abnormalities. Using MDCT with TTE has improved the diagnostic accuracy thus obviating the need for diagnostic cardiac catheterization especially in critically ill patients.

Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism With Right Heart Strain in a Patient With Immune Thrombocytopenia—A Case Report and Review of the Literature
Conclusions The patient underwent thromboembolectomy by interventional radiology with subsequent administration of intravenous immunoglobulin, high-dose steroids, and enoxaparin therapy. There is no standard of care for patients with life-threatening pulmonary embolism in this population. Several authors suggest medical therapy options, but do not include patients with potential hemodynamic instability.

Epidemiological and clinical profile, management and outcomes of young patients ( ≤40 years) with acute coronary syndrome: A single tertiary care center study
CONCLUSIONS: STE-ACS was the most common presentation of ACS in the young population. Smoking was the most common risk factor. The majority of the patients had single-vessel disease, and there was a significant delay in first medical contact and revascularization.PMID:34154745 | PMC:PMC8322929 | DOI:10.1016/j.ihj.2021.01.015
