Human Papillomavirus Inpatient Postpartum Vaccination: Clinical Guideline Implementation
CONCLUSION: Non-Hispanic White, Spanish-speaking, and married patients were disproportionally undervaccinated in our baseline population, but about one quarter of vaccine-eligible patients received 9vHPV vaccination postpartum. Human papillomavirus vaccination receipt and provider counseling rates among high-risk patients
CONCLUSION: HPV vaccination and the rate of obstetric and gynecologic provider counseling regarding HPV vaccination among patients undergoing colposcopy remains low. Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Education and Knowledge Among Medical and Dental Trainees
The objectives of this study were to (1) assess medical and dental trainees' baseline knowledge regarding HPV and HPV vaccine, (2) determine the willingness to recommend the HPV vaccine to patients, and (3) evaluate the impact of an online intervention on HPV-related knowledge. An Opportunity in Cancer Prevention: Human Papillomavirus Vaccine Delivery in the Hospital
CONCLUSIONS: Using QI methodology we were successful in increasing HPV and meningococcal vaccination rates among hospitalized adolescents. Considering the relationship of these 2 vaccines is a potential topic of future work.
