Comparing treatment outcomes of various intracranial bifurcation aneurysms locations using the Woven EndoBridge (WEB) device
Conclusion To our knowledge, this is the most extensive study to date that compares the treatment of different intracranial bifurcation aneurysms using the WEB device. Basilar tip and ICA bifurcation aneurysms showed significantly higher rates of aneurysm occlusion than other locations.

Association Between Spotty Calcification in Nonstenosing Extracranial Carotid Artery Plaque and Ipsilateral Ischemic Stroke
Conclusions Spotty calcifications associated with low-density plaque and maximum plaque thickness were associated with ipsilateral ischemic stroke in patients with nonstenotic carotid atherosclerosis, suggesting a role as imaging markers of high-risk plaque.PMID:37183863 | DOI:10.1161/JAHA.122.028525

Guidelines for reasonable and appropriate care in the emergency department 3 (GRACE-3): Acute dizziness and vertigo in the emergency department
Acad Emerg Med. 2023 May;30(5):442-486. doi: 10.1111/acem.14728.ABSTRACTThis third Guideline for Reasonable and Appropriate Care in the Emergency Department (GRACE-3) from the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine is on the topic adult patients with acute dizziness and vertigo in the emergency department (ED). A multidisciplinary guideline panel applied the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach to assess the certainty of evidence and strength of recommendations regarding five questions for adult ED patients with acute dizziness of less than 2 weeks' duration. The intended pop...

Long-Term Follow-Up of Cerebral Aneurysms Completely Occluded at 6  Months After Intervention with the Woven EndoBridge (WEB) Device: a Retrospective Multicenter Observational Study
This study underlines the importance of repeat imaging in patients treated with the WEB device even if complete occlusio n is achieved short term. Follow-up can be performed using DSA, MRA or CTA with no difference in positive predictive value.

Inactivated whole-virion SARS-CoV-2 vaccines and long-term clinical outcomes in patients with coronary atherosclerosis disease in China: a prospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: Our results indicated no evidence of an increased ischemic or bleeding risk after vaccination with inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine among Chinese patients with CAD, with limited statistical power.PMID:36756815 | DOI:10.1093/cvr/cvad031

Association between the number of academic research consortium for high bleeding risk (ARC-HBR) criteria and clinical outcomes in patients with acute coronary syndrome
CONCLUSIONS: ARC-HBR score was independently associated with an increased risk of MACE in patients with ACS after an emergent PCI. Moreover, it had a similar diagnostic ability for predicting MACE within two years compared to the CADILLAC risk score.PMID:36682715 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2023.01.003
