Development of a self-help cognitive behavioral therapy programme for reducing the stigma of stroke survivors: a modified delphi study

Inflammatory markers and their association with post stroke cognitive decline
ConclusionsFollowing ischemic stroke, higher serum interleukin 8 is independently associated with baseline cognitive impairment while higher serum interleukin 12 is associated with subsequent cognitive decline.

Thrombolytic utilization for ischemic stroke in US hospitals with neurology residency program
Conclusions: Acute stroke care in NR hospitals is associated with an increased thrombolytic utilization. The disparities between the thrombolysis rate in NR and that in OT and NT hospitals are greater among elderly patients.

NIHSS Score May Help Predict Health Literacy Levels after Acute Ischemic Stroke (P7.158)
CONCLUSIONS: This study suggests that there may be an association between the NIHSS score and HL levels in patients hospitalized with AIS. Additional studies incorporating a larger number of patients are warranted to discern if this is a true association. Basal ganglia stroke and apathy: a clinico-radiological study (P7.136)
CONCLUSIONS: Apathy is more prevalent and more severe in patients with bilateral basal ganglia stroke suggesting that damage to bilateral circuits play a role in clinical apathy.
