Emergencies in cancer immunotherapy
CONCLUSIONS: Even emergencies are manageable if we know the most important side effects and the therapeutic options. Immune-mediated side effects are of particular importance because they can affect any organ system. However, as long as we consider the possibility of toxicity from checkpoint inhibitors when the patient presents with symptoms, most side effects are easy to treat and therefore manageable.PMID:37607581 | DOI:10.1055/a-2128-4849

Quantitative and qualitative impact of physician assistants in a Canadian urology setting
CONCLUSIONS: PAs in a Canadian urology practice allow for more patient visits, decrease in physician workload, and positively impact trainee education. PAs saw more patients in clinic than clinic growth, thereby decreasing physician, fellow, and resident workload. The offset of the increase in patient visits made the PAs a cost-neutral investment.PMID:37494320 | DOI:10.5489/cuaj.8287
