Migraine Prophylaxis, Ischemic Depolarizations, and Stroke Outcomes in Mice Basic Sciences
Conclusions— These data underscore the importance of hyperexcitability as a mechanism for increased stroke risk in migraineurs, and suggest that migraine prophylaxis may not only prevent migraine attacks but also protect migraineurs against ischemic injury.

Acute Stroke in Young Women Taking Phentermine (P01.249)
CONCLUSIONS: We present here two patients with mild underlying cerebrovascular risk factors who presented with acute stroke after taking diet pills containing phentermine. The public should be aware of the possible association between stroke and phentermine. More long-term outcomes research is necessary to understand the safety of phentermine-containing diet pills. Writing Tremor Secondary to Ischemic Stroke: A Report on a Case With a Remarkable Response to Topiramate
Conclusions: Primary WT pathophysiology is not well known, and secondary WT as a result of stroke is even less considered. Although patients with essential tremor benefit with TPM and WT could be a variant of essential tremor, we used TPM with our patient and there was a marked benefit.
