Bleeding risk after acupuncture in patients taking anticoagulant drugs: a case control study based on real-world data
CONCLUSIONS: Anticoagulant drugs may increase the risk of bleeding after acupuncture. We encourage physicians to ask patients in detail about their medical history and drug use prior to acupuncture treatment.PMID:37141924 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctim.2023.102951

Treatment and bleeding complications of cancer-associated venous thromboembolism: A Korean population-based study
CONCLUSIONS: DOACs have become the most prescribed anticoagulant in CAT. Bleeding was more prevalent with DOAC than PAC. The bleeding complications should be carefully monitored to ensure optimal treatment, especially with DOAC.PMID:35764307 | DOI:10.1055/a-1886-5991

Incidence of Venous Thromboembolism: The 3 < sup > rd < /sup > Korean Nationwide Study
CONCLUSION: In Korea, the ASRs of VTE continued to increase since 2014, but the rate of increase slowed in 2018. The VTE occurred more often in the elderly and in women. Five years after the introduction of DOACs in 2013, they accounted for 73% of all anticoagulants used to treat VTE.PMID:35502501 | DOI:10.3346/jkms.2022.37.e130
