A rare cause of stroke in young: PHACE syndrome (P1.253)
Conclusions:Neurocutaneous syndromes are typically diagnosed in childhood and can be a rare cause of stroke in young. Our patient suffered an ischemic stroke secondary to sequelae of undiagnosed PHACE syndrome. ConclusionsStroke patients with LEP face barriers to equitable care at multiple stages. While some studies demonstrate worse outcomes for LEP patients, equitable care was shown in multiple studies frequently in the setting of a high degree of interpreter availability. Patients with LEP will benefit from tailored education regarding stroke symptom recognition and medication regimens, and from provision of translated written educational material. CONCLUSIONS: Secondary cardiovascular preventive therapy in Poland is used too rarely in older people after stroke, and it especially concerns anticoagulant therapy in those with a history of atrial fibrillation. Strategy to a 5 Minute Door to Needle Time (S5.005)
CONCLUSIONS:Our experience suggests that the "Target: Stroke" strategies (EMS initiation of stroke codes, rapid triage, rt-PA before labs), SMART criteria, and three question tool to predict abnormal coagulation can significantly reduce the time to thrombolysis.
