Effects of Transitional Care Model-Based Interventions for Stroke Patients and Caregivers on Caregivers' Competence and Patient Outcomes: Randomized Controlled Trial
This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Transitional Care Model Stroke Turkey for stroke patients and caregivers as regards the competence of caregivers and patient outcomes. It is a parallel-group, assessor-blinded monocenter conducted with 126 participants in total (66 intervention included 33 stroke patients and 33 caregivers; 60 control groups included 30 stroke patients and 30 caregivers), between March and August 2018. Activities and participation after stroke: validity and reliability of the Turkish version of IMPACT-S questionnaire.
CONCLUSION: The Turkish version of the IMPACT-S is a valid and reliable questionnaire for evaluating activities and participation in patients with stroke. Psychometric Testing of the Turkish Version of the Stroke Self-Efficacy Questionnaire
Conclusions/Implications for Practice These results indicate that the T-SSEQ is acceptable for use with Turkish stroke patients in both practice and research settings. Furthermore, the questionnaire is suitable for nurses to use in designing interventions and evaluating stroke patients' self-efficacy in clinics, home care, and rehabilitation centers.

Investigation of The Relationship Between IL-18 (-607 C/A), IL-18 (-137 G/C) Gene Variations and Ischemic Stroke Disease Development in Thrace Region of Turkey.
CONCLUSION: Although these gene variations' genotype distributions were not determined as a genetic risk factor for the development of ischemic stroke, allele frequencies of IL-18 (-137 G/C) and IL-18 (-607 C/A) in patient and control groups were significantly different from the Hardy-Weinberg distribution.
