Umbilical cord levels of macrophage migration inhibitory factor in neonatal respiratory distress syndrome.

The predictive and diagnostic accuracy of long Pentraxin-3 in COVID-19 Pneumonia.
This study was conducted on 88 confirmed COVID-19 patients who were hospitalized due to symptomatic pneumonia between April 15 2020 and August 15 2020. The patients were divided into two groups as survived patients and non-survived patients. Both groups were compared according to demographic features, comorbid conditions and measurement of the PTX-3 and other laboratory parameters of the patients. Influence of aluminum salts on COVID-19 infected patients.
CONCLUSION: It has been observed that aluminum salts have beneficial effects in COVID-19 infected cases. Considering the low systemic toxicity of intermittent oral intake of aluminum salts as food supplements and the fact that pandemic control is still not achieved, the use of aluminum salts is promising. Evaluation of Initial Chest CT Findings of COVID-19 Pneumonia in 117 Deceased Patients: a Retrospective Study.
CONCLUSION: In deceased patients, on admission CTs, pure consolidation, pleural and pericardial effusion, mediastinal LAP were more common than ordinary cases. A sensitive indicator for the severity of covid-19: thiol.
CONCLUSIONS: Depleted thiol status was observed in SARS-CoV-2 infection.Decline of the thiol levels by degrees while the severity of infection increased was closely related to the progression of the disease.This outcome highlights that thiols could be an impressible biomarker for predicting of the severity of COVID-19.
