Prevalence of micro and macro vascular complications and their risk factors in type 2 diabetes in Saudi Arabian population: an analysis from SHIS
CONCLUSIONS: The high prevalence of microvascular and macrovascular complications in diabetic patients poses a serious threat to public health in Saudi Arabia. Prevalence and predictors of inappropriate apixaban dosing in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation at a large tertiary academic medical institution
ConclusionIn patients with NVAF receiving apixaban for stroke prevention in this real-world analysis,>  80% were prescribed an appropriate dosage of apixaban. Proactive procedures, such as integrating an electronic dosing algorithm, educating healthcare providers, and involving clinical pharmacists in medication review, may help ensure the use of appropriate apixaban dosages.

Identifying treatment related problems and associated factors among hospitalized post-stroke patients through medication management review: a multi-center study
ConclusionLack of drug efficacy, inappropriate drug adherence and patient knowledge were the major TRPs identified via delivering the MMR service to post-stroke patients. The identified TRPs highlights the importance of the MMR service, and supports planning future strategies aimed at decreasing the incidence of strokes.
