Atherosclerosis as a Risk Factor for IBD: A Population-Based Case-Control Study
CONCLUSIONS: A history of an atherosclerotic-related condition is associated with increased odds of developing IBD, particularly among older adults. A single bout of exercise may be effective at acutely reducing WPE via reductions in arterial wave reflections.
