CAR-T cells development in solid tumors
Bull Cancer. 2022 Dec 19:S0007-4551(22)00436-2. doi: 10.1016/j.bulcan.2022.12.001. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTCAR-T cells have produced very promising results in the field of onco-hematology and have been rapidly approved for marketing in France for several years now. In solid tumors, current results are more disappointing. Indeed, many hurdles come in the way. Tumor vascularization, the strongly immunosuppressive microenvironment, the loss of the target antigen as well as T cell exhaustion are part of the explanation of those results. Hence many researchers are working to develop strategies to counteract these resistan...

One-month humoral response following two or three doses of mRNA Covid-19 vaccines as primary vaccination in specific populations in France: first results from the ANRS0001S COV-POPART cohort
CONCLUSIONS: Lower COVID-19 vaccine humoral response was observed in specific populations compared to controls. A third dose of vaccine in the primary regimen had a positive effect on both percentages of patients who developed anti-Spike IgG antibodies and specific neutralizing antibodies.PMID:36252789 | DOI:10.1016/j.cmi.2022.10.009

Trajectories and individual determinants of repeated seasonal flu vaccination use over the long term using data from the French E3N cohort
Vaccine. 2022 Jul 18:S0264-410X(22)00855-6. doi: 10.1016/j.vaccine.2022.07.004. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTDespite the implementation of incentive policies to promote seasonal flu vaccination for more than 20 years in France, the coverage of high-risk individuals remains largely insufficient. While there is extensive literature on the determinants of vaccination in a given year, it rarely considers the specificity of flu vaccination, which must be repeated every autumn to remain effective. We aim to fill this gap by focusing on the flu vaccination behavior of high-risk individuals (65 years and older, chronic diseases) ...
