Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing in Stroke Rehabilitation: Benefits and Clinical Utility Perceived by Physiotherapists and Individuals with Stroke
Conclusions: Both physiotherapists and patients described the benefit of having CPET available to support them as they participated in exercise in a stroke rehabilitation setting. Physiotherapists would benefit from having educational tools to support their interpretation and application of test results, and patients would benefit from improved communication and education to support their understanding of the relevance of CPET to their rehabilitation goals. Factors Associated With Non-enrollment of Center-Based Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program Among Transient Ischemic Attack or Mild Stroke Patients: A MIXED-METHOD RETROSPECTIVE STUDY.
CONCLUSIONS: This study found that patients with TIA or mild stroke who were older, lived farther from the CRP center, or were current smokers were less likely to enroll in a CRP. The present findings may help clinicians identify patients unlikely to enroll in a CRP and allow the implementation of interventions focused on health education and physical activity to improve enrollment. Future research should validate these factors in multiple settings using prospective mixed methods so that interventions can be developed to address non-enrollment in the CRP. Factors that Influence the Clinical Implementation of Aerobic Exercise in Stroke Rehabilitation: a Theory-Informed Qualitative Study

Effect modification of age and hypertension on cancer and prevalence of self ‐reported stroke – A cross‐sectional study
The objective of this study was to examine the effect modification of age on the relationship between cancer and prevalence of self-reported stroke. We used cross-sectional data from the 2015 –2016 iteration of the Canadian Community Health Survey. A multivariable logistic regression model was used to assess the association between cancer and self-reported stroke.
