Discussion: Dysfunctional breathing is under-recognised but common in children with DA and specialist physiotherapy assessments are important. Screening tools to identify children who will benefit from specialist physiotherapy intervention require development.

Effect of pulmonary rehabilitation in allergen safe outdoor environment on children and adolescents with mild to moderate persistent allergic asthma.
CONCLUSION: Two weeks of PRP in AllSOE significantly improved exercise capacity and reduced airway inflammation and airway hyperreactivity showing that even a short-term PRP within a proper environment could be effective and affordable management strategy for children and adolescents with mild to moderate asthma. Conclusions of that meta-analysis should be interpreted with great caution because of differences in population studied, and differences in primary and co-primary outcomes. A randomized crossover study of sputum induction by physiotherapy and hypertonic saline techniques in asthmatic children
Conclusion: All techniques were safe when performed in asthmatic children and were useful to study inflammation in these patients. In addition, children were more collaborative and enthusiastic with physiotherapy.
