In 2018, Ohio State University (OSU) Extension implemented Celebrate Your Plate (CYP), a social marketing campaign intended to increase awareness of the importance of eating fruits and vegetables across two quadrants of Ohio comprising 45 counties.

In the context of child health in the UK, the focus is centered on childhood obesity, with one in 10 children aged 4-5 years being overweight or obese, rising to one in 3 children by the age of 11-15 years. The FDA Is Severely Restricting the Sale of Flavored E-Cigarettes. Here ’s What to Know
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Thursday followed through on a rumored plan to significantly restrict the sale of flavored e-cigarettes in an effort to keep young users away from tobacco products.
“The bottom line is this: I will not allow a generation of children to become addicted to nicotine through e-cigarettes,” said FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb in a statement. “We won’t let this pool of kids, a pool of future potential smokers, of future disease and death, to continue to build. Food and nutrient intakes and compliance with recommendations in school-aged children in Ireland: Findings from the National Children's Food Survey II (2017-18) and changes since 2003-04
This study found that nutrient intakes among school-aged children in Ireland are generally in compliance with recommendations; however this population group have higher intakes of saturated fat, free sugars and salt, and lower intakes of dietary fibre than recommended. Furthermore, significant proportions have inadequate intakes of vitamin D, calcium, iron and folate.
