Learning Through Listening: A Scoping Review of Podcast Use in Medical Education

The leadership structure within many academic departments often includes faculty members in dedicated educational leadership positions who are responsible for providing oversight to a diverse population of specialty-specific learners and programs. These individuals provide leadership for medical education programs that span the continuum from undergraduate to graduate and continuing medical education. The term “Vice Chair of Education” (VCE) first appeared in the medical literature in 2010 to describe this leadership function.

Immediate consequences and solutions used to maintain medical education during the COVID-19 pandemic for residents and medical students: a restricted review
Conclusion Medical education was highly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic particularly in surgical specialties. Online courses were the most frequently attempted solution to cope with social distancing constraints. Medical students’ assessment of pedagogical tools was mostly positive, but the methodological quality of those studies was limited.

A scoping review on the relationship between mental wellbeing and medical professionalism
CONCLUSION: The medical professionalism attributes were found to deteriorate as the mental wellbeing issues grow. This can harm medical students' overall health, current learning abilities and future attitudes towards their patients.
