Multifaceted pathogenesis of liver steatosis in inflammatory bowel disease: a systematic review
CONCLUSIONS: In this interplay between genetic, metabolic, drug, and inflammatory factors, the underlying pathogenic mechanisms behind NAFLD in IBD are still far from clear. Remotely conducting an ambulatory care IPPE course in which pharmacy students used an actual EHR to participate in medication safety monitoring for ambulatory patients expanded the pharmacy school's ability to provide crucial practice experience. A young woman with proptosis
A 31-year-old Caucasian woman was referred to our ophthalmic oncology outpatient clinic with a 4-week history of right eye proptosis, bifrontal pressure like headaches and blurred vision in the right eye. The patient denied diplopia or facial numbness. Review of systems was positive for recent nasal congestion and cough.
