Identification of 5F-Cumyl-PINACA, a Synthetic Cannabinoid, in the Herbal Material Used for Recreational Purposes in the Province of Trieste: Public Health implications
CONCLUSION: Consumption of 5F-Cumyl-PINACA results in much more potent effects than marijuana. Lack of information about the actual concentration of the substance on the packaging does not allow drug users to have an adequate dosage, with possible toxic consequences on health. Adverse events related to herbal dietary supplements and over-the-counter medications containing laxatives: a 10-year update from the Italian Phytovigilance and Pharmacovigilance systems
CONCLUSIONS: The number of AE reports recorded in the last 10 years is still relatively low. However, given the seriousness of some AEs, that does not represent a guarantee of safety.
