Transapical-transcatheter aortic valve implantation using the Edwards SAPIEN 3 valve
CONCLUSIONS: We observed very promising early and mid-term clinical outcomes with a high degree of device success and good hemodynamic performance after TA-TAVI using the S3 in the intermediate risk patient profile.PMID:35037446 | DOI:10.23736/S0021-9509.21.11523-X

Rapid deployment technology versus conventional sutured bioprostheses in aortic valve replacement
ConclusionsDespite the benefits of RDAVR in terms of reduced operative time and enhanced recovery, the risk of pacemaker insertion and midterm PVL remains a significant cause for concern.

Minimally Invasive versus Full Sternotomy for Isolated Aortic Valve Replacement in Low-risk Patients
CONCLUSIONS: For patients at low risk for isolated surgery, MI and FS approaches were associated with similar in-hospital and 1-year outcomes.PMID:34958771 | DOI:10.1016/j.athoracsur.2021.11.048

Cardiac Operations after Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
CONCLUSIONS: Cardiac operations after TAVR are increasing and interval between TAVR and operation decreasing. Most cardiac operations are complex, high-risk reoperations and isolated AVR rare. These findings should be considered when TAVR is selected for low-intermediate risk patients, particularly with multiple cardiac pathologies not addressed by TAVR.PMID:34800488 | DOI:10.1016/j.athoracsur.2021.10.022

Clinical results and 30-day outcomes of self-expanding transcatheter aortic valves: comparative case-matched analysis of CoreValve < sup > ® < /sup > versus ACURATE neo ™
CONCLUSION: Both self-expandable prostheses showed good postoperative hemodynamic performance with a low incidence of severe paravalvular leakage, all- cause mortality, and comparable clinical outcomes.PMID:34472999 | DOI:10.1177/02676591211042562

Twelve-month outcomes of the TaurusOne ® Valve For Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation in Patients with Severe Aortic Stenosis
CONCLUSIONS: The 1-year clinical results confirm the safety and efficacy of the TaurusOne® transcatheter aortic valve system in the treatment of patients with symptomatic severe tricuspid and bicuspid aortic stenosis.PMID:34338639 | DOI:10.4244/EIJ-D-21-00040
