Evaluation of Education and Patient Screening for Delirium Among Patients With Stroke: Knowledge, Confidence, and Patient Outcomes
CONCLUSION: Delirium education positively impacts staff knowledge and confidence with the identification and management of delirium. Patients with an acute stroke may benefit from early and frequent delirium assessments. Staff education, structured assessment frequency with a validated assessment tool, and specific interventions affect patient outcomes, such as infection rates and discharge level of care. Community physicians’ knowledge of secondary prevention after ischemic stroke: a questionnaire survey in Shanxi Province, China
Conclusion: The survey revealed a huge gap in knowledge of current guidelines for secondary prevention of ischemic stroke and TIA among the physicians surveyed. Continuing education and training of community physicians, administered as a public health program, is needed to improve the healthcare of ischemic stroke and TIA patients.

Aphasia in neurology practice: A survey about perceptions and practices
Conclusion: The thrust areas, pertaining to gaps in perception and practices identified through this study, can be viewed as “an in-time input.” We hope that changes in some of the perceptions and practices can be attained through an emphasis on education and training at multiple levels right from the undergraduate to the practicing physicians. A few more themes and domains will need advocacy actions targeted to different stakeholders.

New Zealand hospital stroke service provision.
CONCLUSION: Hospital location is associated with differences in stroke services provision across New Zealand and ongoing work is required to optimise consistent access to best practice care. Effectiveness of a Web-Based Health Education Program to Promote Oral Hygiene Care Among Stroke Survivors: Randomized Controlled Trial
Conclusions: The Web-based CPD program based on TPB increased general intention, attitudes, subjective norms, and knowledge to provide oral hygiene care among stroke carers for their patients. Changing subjective norms and perceived behavioral control are key factors associated with changes in general intention to provide oral hygiene care.
