Corticospinal Tract Integrity and Long-Term Hand Function Prognosis in Patients With Stroke
Conclusions: The present study showed that CST integrity (at 6 months after onset) in patients with chronic stroke was related to functional hand status. In addition, the mid-pons FA value was more predictive of functional restoration of the hand than the FN or FA value at the pontomedullary junction. Lee Silverman Voice Treatment BIG ® for a Person With Stroke.
We examined the effects of the LSVT BIG program for a 52-yr-old community-dwelling woman with mild to moderate upper extremity hemiparesis 2 yr after a stroke and the feasibility of delivering the home exercise component of the program in a game-based format. We made measurements at pretest, posttest, and 6-wk follow-up. Applications of Head-Mounted Displays for Virtual Reality in Adult Physical Rehabilitation: A Scoping Review.
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: HMD-VR is an emerging technology with many uses in adult physical rehabilitation. Higher quality clinical implementation studies are needed to examine effects on patient outcomes.
