Efficacy of frequently-used acupuncture methods for specific parts and conventional pharmaceutical interventions in treating post-stroke depression patients: A network meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: 12 acupuncture methods may be effective and safe in improving the condition of patients with PSD. Higher quality randomized controlled trials need sufficient evidence because the overall quality of included trials can only be classified as low quality. CONCLUSIONS: The effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions for spatial neglect in improving functional ability in ADL and increasing independence remains unproven. Many strategies have been proposed to aid rehabilitation of spatial neglect, but none has yet been sufficiently researched through high-quality fully powered randomised trials to establish potential or adverse effects. Comparison between acupuncture and antidepressant therapy for the treatment of poststroke depression: Systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that acupuncture not only can reduce the severity of PSD, but also has significant effects on decreasing the appearance of other adverse events.

Efficacy observation of Zhi Shen Tiao Sui acupuncture method for depression after ischemic stroke
ConclusionCompared with sole use of Western medication, medication combined with Zhi Shen Tiao Sui acupuncture can promote the recovery of neurological function, down-regulate the levels of CORT and ACTH and enhance the clinical efficacy in treating patients with depression after ischemic stroke, with a relatively high safety rating.
