It is the most common cause of chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, and gastric carcinoma. The eradication therapy is based on the combination of a proton pump inhibitor and several antibiotics such as amoxicillin, metronidazole, clarithromycin, levofloxacin or tetracycline.
