Mechanism of total glucosides from Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra) on proliferation and apoptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells via phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten / phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase / protein kinase B signaling pathway
CONCLUSION: TG-RPR significantly inhibits the proliferation of HepG2 cells in a dose-dependent manner and promotes apoptosis. These results demonstrated TG-RPR has significant inhibitory effect on HepG2 cells. These results identify a critical role of TG-RPR in proliferation and apoptosis of HepG2 cells via modulating PTEN/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. TG-RPR may offer a promise as a potential pharmaceutical therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma.PMID:34708625 | DOI:10.19852/j.cnki.jtcm.2021.05.003

ASIC1a stimulates the resistance of human hepatocellular carcinoma by promoting EMT via the AKT/GSK3 β/Snail pathway driven by TGFβ/Smad signals
J Cell Mol Med. 2022 Apr 14. doi: 10.1111/jcmm.17288. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTMultidrug resistance is the main obstacle to curing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Acid-sensing ion channel 1a (ASIC1a) has critical roles in all stages of cancer progression, especially invasion and metastasis, and in resistance to therapy. Epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) transforms epithelial cells into mesenchymal cells after being stimulated by extracellular factors and is closely related to tumour infiltration and resistance. We used Western blotting, immunofluorescence, qRT-PCR, immunohistochemical staining, MTT, colony fo...
