LINC00662 Promotes Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cell Growth and Metastasis through miR-144-3p/EZH2 Axis
CONCLUSION: LINC00662, as an oncogenic lncRNA of OSCC, accelerates OSCC progression by repressing miR-144-3p expression and increasing EZH2 expression.PMID:34164962 | PMC:PMC8236341 | DOI:10.3349/ymj.2021.62.7.640

Dibenzyl trisulfide inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of HN30 cells via Akt/ p53 signaling pathway
Nan Fang Yi Ke Da Xue Xue Bao. 2021 Jun 20;41(6):847-853. doi: 10.12122/j.issn.1673-4254.2021.06.06.ABSTRACTOBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of dibenzyl trisulfide (DTS) on cell proliferation and apoptosis in human head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) HN30 cells.OBJECTIVE: The effects of DTS on proliferation of HNSCC cell lines HN30, HN12, and SCC25 were examined by assessing colony formation ability of the treated cells. The effect of different concentrations of DTS on viability of HN30 cells was assessed using MTT assay. HN30 cells were treated with 3, 10, or 30 μmol/L DTS for 24 h, and the cell apoptosis and m...

Localized IgG4-related disease manifested on the tongue: a case report
We present a case report of localized IgG4-RD with ulcerative and proliferative manifestations on the tongue, which clinically mimicked oral squamous cell carcinoma. A tumor-like lesion on the tongue can indicate something else other than the malignant or reactive changes commonly found in the oral mucosa. Multiple differential diagnoses of these atypical oral lesions, including localized IgG4-RD, should be considered.PMID:34349889 | PMC:PMC8276348 | DOI:10.48101/ujms.v126.6118
