SARS-CoV-2: analysis of the effects of mutations in non-structural proteins
In this study, we used full genome sequences of SARS-CoV-2 variants to predict structural changes in viral proteins. These sequences were obtained from the Global Initiative on Sharing Avian Influenza Data (GISAID), and a set of significant mutations were identified in each of the non-structural proteins (NSP1-16) and structural proteins, including the envelope, nucleocapsid, membrane, and spike proteins.
