Surgical Management of Wilms Tumors with Intravenous Extension: A Multicenter Analysis of Clinical Management with Technical Insights
CONCLUSIONS: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with proper surgical strategy resulted in a survival rate comparable to that of children with Wilms tumors without intravascular extension. A Brief Historical Perspective on Pulmonary Embolism

In this historical perspective, we aim to provide an overview of the rich medical history surrounding pulmonary embolism. We highlight Virchow's first steps toward understanding the pathophysiology in the 1800s. Endothelial receptor proteins in acute venous thrombosis and delayed thrombus resolution in cerebral sinus vein thrombosis
ConclusionsPECAM-1 in combination with D-Dimer should be used to improve the diagnostic accuracy of acute CSVT and sPECAM-1 may predict long-term outcome of CSVT.
