She forgets that she’s cooking and leaves the stove on and has left the water running for hours. She forgets what day it is and how to do basic self-care. Post Polio Iliopsoas Atrophy-MRI
33 year old polio patient MRI spine was done and showed mild scoliotic tilt with convexity to left. Left iliopsoas muscle is not well seen with areas of fatty replacement within the iliacus and psoas major muscle. Left gluteal muscles are also atrophied.
