Dignity, Resilience, and Quality of Life in Patients With Cardiac Disease: A Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling Approach
CONCLUSIONS: Dignity is a new concern in cardiac disease research, which is influential to patients' perception of disease and their HRQoL. Patients with cardiac disease with higher resilience tend to have a better HRQoL.PMID:38099589 | DOI:10.1097/JCN.0000000000001071 (Source: The Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing)

Mediators of the Association Between Cognitive Function and Self-care Behaviors in Patients Hospitalized With an Exacerbation of Heart Failure
CONCLUSIONS: Both HF knowledge and self-care confidence mediated the association of cognitive function with self-care maintenance, and only self-care confidence mediated the association between cognitive function and self-care management. Interventions targeting HF knowledge and self-care confidence may improve self-care even for those with lower cognitive function and need to be developed and tested.PMID:38099586 | DOI:10.1097/JCN.0000000000001066 (Source: The Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing)
