Trajectories of intimate partner violence and their relationship to stress among young women in South Africa: An HPTN 068 study
CONCLUSIONS: Sustained IPV risk during adolescence was associated with elevated CRP in young adulthood. The relationship between IPV and elevated CMV was attenuated among those receiving a CT, suggesting that CTs could possibly reduce biological stress due to IPV.PMID:38563376 | DOI:10.1177/00207640241239535 (Source: The International Journal of Social Psychiatry)

Effects of online coping skills training on stress, anxiety and social problem solving in young people: A randomised controlled study
CONCLUSION: Complete and correct implementation of coping skills training among the youth may contribute positively to the development of adaptive coping skills by reducing their stress and anxiety levels. This online coping skills training program allowed young people to directly experience their response to stress and offered opportunities to try and develop different coping strategies. Coping skills should be considered for successful stress and anxiety management in everyday life.PMID:38563408 | DOI:10.1177/00207640241239539 (Source: The International Journal of Social Psychiatry)

Effect of drama training on self-esteem and personality strengths: A feasibility case control study of nidotherapy
CONCLUSIONS: Despite the limited numbers in this study, and the consequent inability to make firm conclusions about the efficacy of drama therapy as part of nidotherapy, the findings suggest that larger trials of this approach are feasible and worth exploring. .PMID:38509044 | DOI:10.1177/00207640241239540 (Source: The International Journal of Social Psychiatry)

The Soteria project recounted by Mosher and its clinical resonances today
CONCLUSIONS: As I have corroborated here, there is today growing and promising scientific evidence validating the principles of the Soteria project. Undoubtedly, this would not have been possible without the pioneering work of Mosher, who, imbued with the tenets of interpersonal phenomenology, shook the psychiatric establishment, leading others to follow the path that he had begun.PMID:38511840 | DOI:10.1177/00207640241237723 (Source: The International Journal of Social Psychiatry)
